AI.KA Digital Singer - a singer of digital networks.

**- Hello. How should we address you?**
- INKAZ, but you can just call me Igor 🙂

**- So, who is AI.KA?**
- Oh, straight to the point! Let me first tell you about the project itself, and then I'll answer your question in the context of our conversation.

**- OK.**

The "AI.KA Digital Singer" project was conceived by me in March 2024 and began implementation in early April of the same year. With the advent of neural networks, the process of creating music reached a new level and became significantly more interesting both creatively and technically. Well, not to keep you in suspense, AI.KA is a virtual singer created entirely by neural networks. The process of forming the singer as a whole took some time, but in the end, we hear and eventually see a specific character with her own personality and singing style. AI.KA Digital Singer – this is the correct spelling of the singer's name, and it is a brand of INKAZ MUSIC STUDIO.

In fact, AI.KA is a young girl of slightly oriental appearance, 22-24 years old, with versatile vocal abilities and a wide singing range.

**- But you position her as a real character?**
- Yes. According to the concept of the project, that is correct. She is a girl, a singer, who performs on stages, in clubs, acts in music videos, and numerous photo shoots. She lives the same life as any girl her age on the internet. Essentially, we all become virtual characters online, appearing how we want to be seen, and with the advent of artificial intelligence and digital technologies, this has become much easier.

**- Why did you choose 80s music style?**
- Well, firstly, I grew up with it, and I like it. Secondly, interest in Italo Disco music is now gaining popularity. Look at the numerous retro discos, artists from those years are recording new songs and performing again, many new groups and singers are working in the 80s disco style. This music captivates with its melody and nostalgic notes. So, the question of what AI.KA would sing was not a concern.

**- Does AI.KA sing exclusively in English?**
- Yes. That's our decision, if I can say so. We tried writing songs in Russian and Italian, but in the end, decided to sing only in English.

**- Are you located in Russia?**
- No. Our studio is located in northern Kazakhstan. I was born and raised here. So, AI.KA may be a virtual singer, but she is born in Kazakhstan.

**- Hence her oriental appearance?**
- Well, you could say so 🙂

**- Let's talk about the music.**
- Let's…

**- How are your songs created?**
- The process of creating a song using neural networks is actually labor-intensive and not as simple as many might think. I won’t reveal all the secrets, but to get a good result, it takes hours, and sometimes days, of generation, mixing, and mastering. A neural network is just another tool, like a synthesizer or a DJ console. What we hear depends on whose hands this tool is in. But I repeat, the human aspect plays a significant role in this process.

**- How long does it take from idea to implementation?**
- It varies. Sometimes, the idea for a song comes in the morning, and by evening, there’s a finished track. But often, it takes several days to complete a song. And let’s not forget that after generation, there’s still processing, mastering, and mixing the track. So, writing a song with AI isn't much different from the work of regular musicians.

**- Now about the lyrics. Who writes the lyrics for you?**
- That's a good question 🙂. It’s a complex process. Yes, I use neural networks to write song lyrics, but to get quality text, I have to create complex requests, practically feeding the program entire stories and plots, rewriting parts several times, and sometimes writing entire verses myself. So, it’s not as easy as it seems at first glance.

**- I see… Where do you publish your music?**
- We have our website www.aikadigital.info, where you can find information about the project, albums, photos, and music videos of the singer. We have a group on VK, a page "INKAZ MUSIC STUDIO" on Facebook, a YouTube channel. We are also regular guests in thematic groups about Italo Disco and 80s Disco on social networks, and our songs can be listened to on all music platforms and many websites on the internet.

**- And one more question. What are your plans…**
- We have big plans 🙂. We currently have 2 full albums, and at the beginning of 2025, a third one is expected. We are also writing material for future albums. We are also working with other authors. For example, with DJ Amigo. We already have several tracks and remixes made in collaboration with him. The slightly different style of his music brings novelty and shows that AI.KA is not just a singer of one style. We are also experimenting with EDM and Trance. So, expect new projects and collaborations. We are just at the beginning of our journey…

**- And finally… Will we ever see AI.KA on a real, not virtual stage, or take an interview with her?**
- Technologies don’t stand still, anything can happen! 🙂 And you can interview AI.KA as early as tomorrow 🙂. Although she has a very busy work schedule, I think she will find time for you. She is a sociable girl and will gladly answer your questions.
